About

About BitList

BitList is a rating platform/directory that monitors in real time the validity of PGP keys, domain availability, community activity and other data sets. The mechanics of the rating system are built in such a way that users with any level of knowledge can receive a complete and objective view of the services provided.

Who are We?

BitList is a merger of two projects. One, launched in 2020 as Ninjastic.space, is a BitcoinTalk archive of over 50 million pages created by TryNinja (an active and well-known forum member since 2015). The second project is a directory launched in 2024 by icopress (a BitcoinTalk user since 2017, ranked in the top 4 most trusted). In 2025, the two projects merged under the BitList brand. The platform underwent significant changes, resulting in the creation of a flexible, powerful, and truly transparent rating system.

Why are we Here?

In a world where financial freedom and privacy are increasingly becoming luxuries, objective coverage of tools that ensure true privacy is sorely lacking.

For us, Bitcoin represents freedom and the dream of cyberpunks and crypto-anarchists. But without reliable privacy tools, this freedom remains vulnerable. Monero, on the other hand, has become a true engine of true anonymity. It currently sets the standard for what a truly private currency should be.

We believe that everyone has the right to privacy in their financial transactions as part of basic everyday precautions, not as a means of concealing illegal activity. That's why Bitcoin and Monero have become the foundation of our filters and philosophy.

If you want to learn about the original idea behind Bitcoin, check out this article by GazetaBitcoin, a user who is interested in the history of Сypherpunks, and be sure to read "A Cypherpunk's Manifesto" and "The Crypto Anarchist Manifesto". These two manifestos are, let's say, the foundation on which Tim May, Eric Hughes and St. Jude built the Cypherpunks group!

How does this work?

Every service on BitList is added, verified, and rated by real users and our team. The rating system mechanics are based on the karma system, service activity, completeness of the provided data including KYC and availability of escrow and community feedback (reviews from trusted members of the original Bitcoin forum).

All this helps users of all levels gain a complete understanding of the preferred services. Thanks to the public log, you can see the history of donations, edits, rating changes, and moderation. In our FAQ, we detail the mechanics and other details regarding every aspect of BitList.
